Dr Karen Jones will provide day-to-day management for the duration of the evaluation, and will be a key link to the Department of Health and PCTs involved in the pilot. Karen will also be a contact for patients and carers.

James Caiels will be interviewing project leads, senior commissioning managers, health professionals, service providers and managers of user/carer organisations. James will be a contact for patients and carers.

Lizzie Welch will be organising research and development approvals for the wider cohort sites and interviewing project leads, senior commissioning managers, health professionals, service providers and managers of user/carer organisations. Lizzie will be a contact for project leads in the wider cohort sample.

Dr Dominic King will be providing advice on data collection instruments and analysis.

Professor Caroline Glendinning will oversee the qualitative data collection from PHB holders and carers; and will also contribute to the evaluation of the implementation of PHBs, particularly the interfaces with social care and wider personalisation.
